Jer and Nikki are having a baby!!!

This baby!
Just chillin.
Baby Osborn was hanging out upside-down for a while!
Can you see baby's little hand?

Yesterday was our 13 week appointment, and we got to see the little critter AND hear the heartbeat!  Three separate Dr's made me pee in cups, I had to give six full tubes of blood, and it too six hours to get through all of the appointments we had, but it was amazing to see the little guy or gal looking so healthy and strong!  Baby Osborn is already three inches long and thriving.  :)

Here I am taking an extra classy public restroom selfie before the appointment.  You can see how excited I am, right?  :)

So far, it hasn't been the easiest pregnancy thanks to my Crohns disease.  At 11 weeks I had an intestinal blockage that sent me to the hospital over night.  It was pretty painful and scary, but the baby was fine and healthy!  Here is my sweet hubby at the ER with me around 3 AM.  What a wonderful guy right?  He is going to be an amazing father. I know this is kind of a silly photo, but this picture really means a lot to me and says so much about who Jer is as a person and a husband.  He has been in rooms and chairs exactly like this so many times for me.  I hope he doesn't kill me for posting it though!

I have a lot more to write about, but for today, I'm just going to get this blog started and let everyone see the little critter.  I mostly just want everyone to know how happy Jer and I are to be starting this journey, and how lucky I feel to be getting this chance to be a mother.  Thanks everyone for your support!  Everyone's well wishes and kind words have meant the world to me.

I'll leave you with our baby announcement.  Jer practicing fatherhood with our dog Chuck!
